Ministry, Education and Fellowship Opportunities

High Schoolers making s'mores
Preschool and K-4th Church School classes gather on the Upper Level after the Time with the Children in worship, usually about 10:30 a.m.

Middle School classes gather on the upper level for church school at 11:20 a.m.

Adult Studies take place in the Chapel after worship and coffee fellowship on Sundays.

Youth Group Innertubing 2007Middle School Youth Group gathers monthly. High School Youth Group gathers monthly. Download The Broadcaster for details on these gatherings.

Church School

Other ministry and fellowship opportunities include:

Sarah Circle is a women’s Bible study that gathers at the church at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month.

Tables for Eight are dinner gatherings held in church members’ homes. Participants rotate among different groupings to meet and get to know other community members. Contact: Gail Black, 503-284-6221.

Drop-ins are welcome to Once-a-Month Choir, which rehearses at 9:30 on the second Sunday of the month and performs in worship that morning.

Prayer Shawl Ministry at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month to knit shawls for community members who need spiritual support. (on hiatus)

Mariner’s Groups are social and service groups that usually meet in one anothers’ homes. Singles and couples are enthusiastically invited to join. Contact David Dornack for information, david@rosecityparkpres.org, 503-282-0965.

Martha Service Group gathers at the church at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of the month to tie quilts and prepare baby items for local mission. Contact Phyllis Buttke for more information, 503-281-4889.
